NEW YEARS EVE 2018

We're teaming up with the guys from local arts charity CHAMP to put together a fun filled night of celebration. A 5 course dinner with live musical entertainment will await you. We're running our usual night where we see in a different new year from across the world each hour.

 

During the course of the night we'll serve you our locally sourced menu with a selection of our own house wines and bubbles. The menu can be viewed below with the options for the menu. We'll require a full pre-order no later than the 15th December with a £20pp deposit payable at the time of booking.

At The Assembly Rooms, Barton-upon-Humber

Doors open at 8pm for pre-dinner drinks.

Dinner served from 8.30pm bar open all night through to carriages at 1.30am

Alfred Enderby’s Smoked Grimsby Haddock  GF

Delicious locally produced smoked haddock in our own recipe chowder with shallots, fresh parsley, white wine & cream.

 Spiced Duck, Pear & Cote Hill Blue Cheese  GF

Mixed salad with poached spiced pear, marinated stripped duck, Cote Hill Blue cheese & mixed leaves.

Mixed mushroom & chestnuts pate with brandy, red onion marmalade & toasted seeded bread.

Local reared beef steak topped with our homemade chicken pate & wrapped prosciutto ham, served with a red wine glaze & roasted shallot.

Skin on chicken breast with a masala wine & mixed mushroom sauce.

Sous Vide Salmon

Salmon fillet, cooked in a water bath to give a perfect cook, marinated with our fresh lemon & thyme pesto.

Homemade Vegetarian Wellington V GF

Mixed vegetable stuffing with roast flat mushroom in a filo pastry case & red wine reduction.

Gin & Tonic Cheesecake

Crisp Bischof caramelised biscuit base with a sweet lemon & mascarpone cheesecake filling and a Lincolnshire Pin Gin, lemon & thyme gel.

Apple & Pear Bread & Butter Pudding  V

Steamed individual pudding with apple & pears, simply served with hot creamy custard.

Lemon Tart V

Sweet pastry with a sharp lemon filling, crème Chantilly & meringue pieces.

Chocolate Orange Charlotte V

Its not Terry’s, or Charlotte’s- Its yours! Beautiful dessert with a rich decadent chocolate and orange ganache surrounded by Cointreau soaked sponge, served with a blood orange syrup.
